This 2024 calendar is designed with good intentions by Dawn Iehstoseranón:nha (she keeps the feathers) and is based on her ‘smoke cleansing/smudge’ series. It includes Moon times, Moon names, Moon water reminders, seasonal ceremonies and Indigenous dates and events like Orange Shirt Day and MMIW awareness.
The first calendar of its kind, Dawn has tried to capture all that is important to Indigenous women and offers gentle reminders of changing seasons, moons and the natural world.
We must learn to see each other the way the Moon sees the Sun, vastly different and equally important. This way of thinking is important when living ‘with Good Mind’.

This calendar is a collaboration of Haudenosaunee knowledge and artistry by Sasha Doxtator, Samantha Doxtator, and Dawn Iehstoseranón:nha.
The stories shared are rooted in Sasha’s journey of research and relationship and weaves Haudenosaunee ways of knowing with astronomical science. In 2021, Sasha began her journey through the Milky Gateway and on to Spirit World. Through love and resilience, her sister Samantha embraced the responsibility of lovingly carrying forward her work.
Each month is full of mindfulness and teachings. It includes Moon times, Moon names, Moon water reminders, seasonal ceremonies and Indigenous dates and events like Orange Shirt Day and MMIW awareness.

Shipping Policy
My shipping days are generally Wednesdays and Fridays. I will ship within 3 working days of your purchase (excluding custom feather bundles which can take weeks).
If for some reason, I cannot ship (illness, emergency, etc.) I will notify you by email. If you don't hear from me, assume the worst - it's a pandemic after all.
*Feathers or anything containing natural materials (feathers, plants, shells) cannot be shipped outside of Canada.
*Nothing is guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. Once it leaves my house, it's up to Canada Post. You will get a tracking number and can contact Canada Post if you feel the arrival is delayed.
Refund Policy
I will not accept returns unless an item arrives broken. When ordering a handmade item, if it arrives broken, please take a photo and email me within 24 hours of receiving the item from Canada Post. There are no returns of custom feather bundles.
