I am a Mi’kmaw artisan whose work is rooted in spirituality, land‑relationship, and the teachings carried forward by my ancestors.
Living in connection with the Creator and the land of Mi’kma’ki, I create dreamcatchers as medicine – tools of connection, responsibility, and respect for all of creation. My practice is shaped by quiet moments when I can sit with intention and weave teachings into each piece. Every dreamcatcher I make is an offering: a reminder of connection, a teaching of care, and a small piece of medicine for those seeking steadiness in their lives.
Dreamcatchers are not made for profit; they are part of how I walk in a good way. I share my work to help others, especially non‑Indigenous folks, understand the true meaning of dreamcatchers: their role in protection, balance, and mental wellness, and the responsibilities that come with carrying Indigenous cultural items.
My creations honour the sacred teachings and the belief that healing is a collective responsibility. Each one is smudged before leaving my hands, ensuring it carries good thoughts, good purpose, and the grounding energy of ceremony.
