My name is Valerie Dumoulin, I currently reside in Cochrane, ON and my community is Taykwa Tagamou First Nation. I began beading a couple of years ago and it has become a passion for me. When I bead, I feel connected to my culture and it gives me a sense of peace. I continue to learn and have attended beading circles with other Indigenous women.
