Beaded Feather Bundles

Description

Your Feather Keeper is Dawn Setford (Mary Francis) Iehstoseranón:nha (She keeps the feathers). She is Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), Wakhskare:wake (Bear Clan) whose familial territory is St.Regis/Akwesasne.

The feathers come to Dawn through her ancestors, conscientious hunters, donors and wildlife rehabs.

Feathers are not owned but retain the spirit of the bird – therefore, they are not ours to sell but only to give. The bird will determine where their feathers will reside. Dawn’s only job is to ‘dress’ the feathers – that is, to wrap them, bead them, bundle them so that your medicines can be carried by you and admired by you. Dawn does not sell feathers – she is only the keeper of feathers. You cannot order Eagle feathers as they are only to be gifted to those that are ready for the knowledge and those that carry the knowledge. When you are ready for an Eagle feather, one will come to you naturally.

Before ordering your bundle, be careful to study the medicines that you need/want to carry as this is the most important part about keeping your bundle.

Your bundle may take 4-6 weeks to arrive – each is custom made for you. Bundles cannot be shipped outside of Canada.
