Spider Spider-Iktomi Wakan
$65.00
Iktomi is the trickster spider and is a highly respected entity in many North American tribes. Iktomi would play tricks on people which would often backfire on him, but he could also bring strong medicine for those in need if they offered sincere appeals for his help.
(Iktomi Wakan means Sacred Spider or Sacred Trickster in the Lakota language)
16×20 Archival Quality, hand-signed print
Description
Using a digital slice of Colleen’s work, we create a unique image. The resulting mirror image invites the viewer to look deeper, connect with the subtle images embedded within the paint. The original medium is ground mineral watercolour paint on synthetic paper. The mirror images come from a wide variety of her work and are put together in a way that invites imaginative thought.
*Note: all prints contain a white space border around the outside of the image to compliment framing.
