A portion of proceeds will be directed to Residential Schools Survivors programs/services at the direction of IndigenARTSY.
Additionally, remaining proceeds support Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs in their efforts to provide basic humanitarian aid to families/individuals in need in their home community of Muskoka/Parry Sound, Ontario. Some of those activities include:
- helping Indigenous families improve living conditions such as spraying for bedbugs when landlords won’t,
- assist disability families with housekeeping assistance,
- providing newer beds, furniture,
- food security measures, and more.
We work closely by becoming allies and supports for families working to gain custody of children from Child Services through prevention measures. It is time to bring the children home. Let’s heal the whole family instead of continuing to take children away and placing them in non-native foster care.
